Yeehaa! More artists announced for Groundwater Country Music Festival 2021

Groundwater is set to be one of the first major music festivals to return to the Gold Coast in some time when it takes over Broadbeach from November 12-14.

Following a cracking first line-up announcement, featuring The Wolfe Brothers, Adam Harvey, and Sara Storer, festival organisers have today revealed an equally spectacular second line-up.

Jumping on board are the likes of charismatic and charitable legend Adam Brand, Sir Elton John’s favourite woman from Down Under, Catherine Britt, as well as hometown hero Casey Barnes, and Kiwi Country Queen, Kaylee Bell.

Festival Director Mark Duckworth said Queensland is widely regarded as Australia’s home of country music, and this is reflected in the line-up, with Queenslanders making up over half of Groundwater’s stacked schedule of country music stars.

“Every stage will see a stellar line up of our homegrown Aussie country music artists,” he said.

“It will be great to see Adam Brand, Catherine Britt, and Casey Barnes back at the event, as well as festival first timers like The New Graces, Arlington, and Lily Grace.

“Groundwater is unlike your typical country music festival, our picturesque beachside destination on the Gold Coast gives country music fans the opportunity to enjoy a tropical holiday whilst kicking back and watching their favourite artists – It’s the ultimate festival experience, and best of all, Groundwater is completely free to attend.”

Gold Coast’s very own local legend Casey Barnes said he cannot wait to return to Groundwater and show off his hometown in all its glory.

“Nothing beats a hometown show and they don’t come much bigger than the Groundwater Country Music Festival,” he said.

“Easily one of my favourite festivals to perform at plus it’s in one of the most incredible locations in Australia. Can’t wait to see you all for one heck of a weekend in November!”
