A 5-year-old boy has died after being struck by a truck in Sydney’s south-west.
Just after 5pm on Friday, emergency services were called to a trucking transport yard on Argyle Street in Picton, following reports a child had been hit a truck.
The youngster was treated on scene by paramedics before being rushed to Liverpool Hospital.

Sadly, despite desperate attempts by doctors, the five-year-old boy could not be saved and passed away.
The driver, a 38-year-old man, was uninjured, and was taken to Liverpool Hospital for mandatory testing.
Officers established a crime scene and are investigating the circumstances surrounding the crash.
