Young boy allegedly indecently assaulted at Brisbane medical facility
Police have launched an investigation into an alleged indecent assault that occurred at a medical facility in Brisbane’s south 17 years ago.
Police say it’s alleged a 14-year-old male patient was indecently treated by a male physician in Sunnybank in 1999.
An investigation is now underway after detectives were alerted to a possible second indecent assault on a teenage boy carried out by the same medical practitioner in 1986.
The reports have prompted police to encourage others who may have been the victim of a similar assault occurring from 1986 to 2016 in a Sunnybank medical facility to contact Crimestoppers on 1800 333 000.
