Young boy left traumatised after being approached by same man twice

POLICE are hunting a man who approached a nine-year-old boy on two separate occasions on the Sunshine Coast last month.

The incidents occurred at Sunshine Beach in Noosa, when the man allegedly approached the young boy at 7.30am on August 15 and again on August 29.

Police say he approached the boy as they walked through an easement between Hill Street and Swan Road and began a conversation with him.

The man is described as Caucasian, tanned, slim build, about 155cm tall and with black or grey hair.

On one of the occasions he was walking a dark coloured dog, believed to be a Staffordshire Terrier

Police wish to speak to the man and have released images in the hope of identifying him.
