A young girl has managed to escape from the hands of a man who tried to pull her into his van on the state’s Central Coast earlier this week.
Police say the 11-year-old was walking in a laneway behind Brittania Street at Umina Beach about 4.30pm on Monday 6 June, when a white van parked near her.
The male driver got out of the vehicle and approached the girl before offering her a lift home.
