Young male reported acting inappropriately near Gold Coast primary school

A Gold Coast State School have warned parents of a young male behaving inappropriately in the area.

As students begin to make their way home from Helensvale State School this afternoon, they have been warned to remain alert.

The principal of the Helensvale school posted a message onto their Facebook page at 2.30pm Friday and sent an urgent email advising parents of reports of a suspicious young male behaving inappropriately in a white vehicle near the school.

“Dear Parents/Caregivers – I would like to inform you that we have had reports from Coomera Police Station of a young male behaving inappropriately in a white vehicle near our school.”

“At this stage the report was of a young male, approximately 18 years of age, wearing a white t-shirt, tan coloured shorts and maroon coloured hat.”

“I would like to take this opportunity to ask all of our families to be extra vigilant in leaving school this afternoon and over the school holidays.”

“Please report any suspicious activity or inappropriate behaviour in our community directly to the police. I would also like to wish all of our families a very safe and relaxing holiday and look forward to seeing you next term,” the post read.
