Young man dies following crash in regional NSW

A MAN in his 20s has been killed in a shocking single-vehicle crash in regional NSW.

It happened on Burrendong Way near Orange around 10.10pm on Tuesday.

Police said the 22-year-old man’s Toyota Landcruiser left the road and struck a tree.


The impact caused significant damage to the vehicle and left the man with life-threatening injuries.

The 22-year-old died at the scene a short time later, police said.

He was the only person travelling in the Toyota at the time,

Police attended and seized the vehicle for a mechanical examination.

Investigations into the cause of the crash are continuing and a report will be prepared for the the information of the Coroner.
