A young man has died after his car crashed into a tree at Mon Repos overnight.
Police say preliminary inquiries indicate that around 11.30pm, a vehicle was headed north west on Mittelheusers Road when it left the road and hit a tree.
The driver, a 19-year-old Burnett Heads man, died at the scene.
The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating.
