A young man has died after collapsing during a soccer match in Queensland on the weekend.
The 25-year-old was playing for the Blackstone United Dragons in Mansfield on Saturday afternoon when he suddenly fell to the ground.
He was rushed to the Princess Alexandra Hospital, however died shortly after, Quest Community News reports.

Queensland Christian Soccer Association president Peter Smale took to Facebook to reveal the tragic news on Saturday afternoon.
“This afternoon a young man from the Blackstone United Dragons Soccer Club passed away during the match he was participating in,” Mr Smale wrote.
“This tragic and sudden event has obviously left quite a mark on those present; players, officials and spectators alike.
“Please prayerfully uphold both the Blackstone and Mansfield clubs as well as spectators and officials over the coming days.”
