A 21-year-old woman has been charged with manslaughter over the death of a seven-month-old baby girl in Queensland’s South Burnett region.
The infant was found unresponsive at a home in Murgon around 9.30 am on February 5 and rushed to hospital.
Despite desperate attempts by doctors, the baby girl could not be saved and died shortly after.

Police said CPR had already commenced on the infant before emergency crews arrived on scene at the home.
The 21-year-old woman, who was “known” to the baby, has been charged with manslaughter.
She was refused police bail and is due to appear in Kingaroy Magistrates Court tomorrow.
