Young woman dies after getting hit by bus, NSW

A woman has tragically died, after she was hit by a bus in Sydney this morning.

The woman in her 20s was struck along Grafton Street in Bondi Junction just after 10.00am.

Emergency services rushed to the scene, but despite desperate attempts she couldn’t be saved.

The horrific incident saw Grafton Street closed for most of the morning, between Newland and Grosvenor streets.

A crime scene has now been established, and police are now investigating.

Anyone with information about the incident, or dashcam footage, is being urged to come forward.
