Ellie won the audience at home over with her new hit single Ghost, with the telephone vote helping her beat out fellow contestants Joe Moore, Nathan Hawes and Liam Maihi.

When the anouncement was made, the high school student broke down in tears saying: ‘I honestly can’t believe I just won! This has been the most amazing experience.’

‘I am over the moon right now and thank you Jessie for always being there for me. ‘Thanks to everyone who voted for me and making this happen. What a ride!’
