A youth worker has been charged with allegedly sexually abusing a teenage girl in his care on multiple occasions.
The 26-year-old man was hit with three counts of intentionally sexually touch child between 10 and 16 years after handing himself into Belmont Police Station about 11am yesterday.
It comes after detectives from the State Crime Command’s Child Abuse and Sex Crimes Squad launched an investigation earlier this week into reports a 15-year-old girl had been assaulted.
