Juveniles on the run after cars stolen from Gold Coast home

Police are searching for at least two youths after two cars were stolen from a home in Southport early this morning.

A grey Kia Stinger was nabbed from an address on Brighton Parade sometime between 11pm and 3.30am.

A Queensland Police spokesperson told myGC the thieves also stole a grey Toyota Prada from the same property.

The Kia was discovered in Ormeau around 3.25am after a member of the public spotted the vehicle parked in a dangerous position near Eggersdorf Road and Creek Road.

“The vehicle appeared to have damage and looks to have had a crash,” the police spokesperson said.

Two children were seen running from the vehicle and remain at large.

Investigations are ongoing.

Police are urging anyone with information to come forward.
